Tune: M-O-T-H-E-R, by Theodore Morse and Howard Johnson (1913)

Mr. Lehrer has asked that the version of this from the Physical Review not be posted, because of the poor technical quality of the recording. However, here is a recording of him performing it in a radio interview from 1965.

Physical Revue version performed by Robert Welker.

Introductory dialog:
And while we are on the subject, how about just one song more
About dear old Boston, and the transit system we all adore.

Song:

H is for my alma mater Hahvud, and
C is Central next stop on the line,
K is for the cozy Kendall station, and
C is Charles that overlooks the brine.
P is Park Street, busy Boston center, and
W is Washington, you see.

Put them all together, they spell HCKC--PW,
Which is just about what Boston means to me.
